Need some far-fetched trains of thought to justify purchasing this? We’ve got extra. 

“Well, my kid DOES seem to be interested in videography. And they say that this stage of creative development is crucial. I’m sure this camcorder’s 720p HD picture would be really great for that...

...And if my marriage falls apart – God forbid – I need to make sure my kid loves me as much as my spouse. I wonder if my marriage is working. It’s so hard to tell. Everybody has major problems in their relationship, right? I better buy that camcorder.”

“I do need some kind of security system—maybe I could use this camcorder. It has 8gb of flash memory, is that enough? But what’s more important than security? I heard someone say that there are two types of decisions: Those driven by fear and those driven by desire. I guess this would be a decision driven by fear, huh? Is that bad? Screw it I’m buying the camcorder.”

“But I SWEAR it was Sasquatch. Why doesn’t anybody believe me?
