Summer has officially arrived in CityVille, and the launch of the summer season marks the launch of some outdoor activities in your town. For instance, an upgradeable new Roller Coaster can now be placed in your city! This Roller Coaster is available to players that have reached at least Level 10, and it will reward you with up to 40 Zoning Permits if you completely upgrade it from Level 1 to Level 6.Once you place the Roller Coaster, you'll need to start collecting on-ride photos to upgrade it. This is a setup similar to the St. Patrick's Day Rainbow and your search for clover. You can earn on-ride photos by asking your friends to send them to you, purchasing them with City Cash or by collecting profits from new "Amusement Park" buildings that can be purchased in the store. There are five new items to choose from as of this writing, with two being available for coins.
As you start to upgrade the Roller Coaster, the number and kinds of photos you'll need to collect will change and increase, making things more difficult overall. You'll have around 45 days to complete this entire feature, which does give you plenty of time to finish, even if you have to wait a while for your friends to respond to requests for help. Once you get done, you'll have a fully upgraded Roller Coaster that towers above your town's smaller buildings, and can truly get the summer fun started in your town!
