Pioneer Trail Ferris Wheel: Everything you need to know

Summertime means trips to carnivals and fairs in the real world, and Zynga is continuing to bring that theme in Pioneer Trail this week with the launch of the Ferris Wheel on our Homesteads! This is one of the few in-game events that requires you to have at least one child in your virtual family in order to access it, so if you're an incredibly new player, you won't be able to access the Ferris Wheel just yet.

There are plenty of goals to complete in this new Ferris Wheel event, so here's a look at doing just that!

Do It Yourself

• Place the Ferris Wheel
• Tend 30 Standard Sheep
• Harvest 20 Tomatoes

Rewards: 2 Fishing Baits, Bouncy Hummingbird (rideable decoration), Mail Order Diploma (needed for further construction on the Ferris Wheel)

Getting Support

• Collect 6 Soaked Manual Pages
• Tend 40 Adult Pigs on your Homestead
• Finish Phase 1 of the Ferris Wheel

The Soaked Manual Pages can be earned by using the Fishing Pond on your Homestead. You can find the requirements for completing Phase 1 of the Ferris Wheel below. For finishing this second goal, you'll receive a Carousel Pony decoration, five Spinach (a new crop) and the Ferris Wheel Plan building material.

Big Wheel

• Tend 10 Carousel Ponies
• Harvest 30 Spinach
• Finish Phase 2 of the Ferris Wheel

On top of the five Spinach you'll receive at the end of the last goal, you can also send and receive Spinach to / from friends from the game's free gifts page. You'll earn 1,000 XP, 1,000 coins and a Cabin Plan building part for finishing this.

Cabin Fever

• Tend 30 Adult Oxen
• Harvest 60 Apricot Trees
• Finish Phase 3 of the Ferris Wheel

Rewards: 1,500 XP, Black Bear Cub, Ferris Wheel Paint building material

Ferris Fun

• Tend 20 Black Bear Cubs
• Scare 10 Bear Varmints
• Finish the Ferris Wheel

Rewards: 2,500 XP, 2,500 coins, Bouncy Seahorse (rideable decoration)

This feature doesn't appear to have a time limit for how long it will be available, but as Ferris Wheels are typically considered summertime rides, you might want to work to complete it sooner, rather than later, just in case it does expire down the line. Good luck finishing it off!
