CityVille UFO Landing: Everything you need to know

If you're familiar with the Whale Rescue feature in CityVille that asks you to expand out into the water surrounding your town in order to rescue lost baby whales, you'll feel right at home with the newest event in the game: the UFO Landing. This event sees you building a UFO Landing site and then expanding your city (not water) to reach four aliens that have been scattered around your land. This feature is available to players that have reached at least Level 15 in their cities, and we're here with a complete guide to finishing it off, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Seeking Lifeforms
  • Repair Alien Family's UFO to Level 2
  • Find Papa Alien
  • Get 12 Alien UV Goggles

The Alien UV Goggles are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, but since your requests are limitedeach day, make sure you ask for these items early and often until you have all 12. To repair the UFO Landing site, you'll need to collect a variety of building parts, starting with 12 Cockpit Controls. Throughout this event, you'll need to ask your friends for items or can earn them by tending UFO Landing themed buildings that are available in the store. These buildings are items like a Deep Space Communications Community Building or the Rocket Dealership Business, both of which are available for coins. Finally, to find Papa Alien, you can click on the "Show Me" button which will take you to the expansion that you need to reach that contains that particular alien. Once you can interact with him, simply move him next to the UFO to finish this task and goal. You'll receive two Zoning Permits and 50,000 coins for finishing this goal.

Launchpad
  • Collect from 10 UFO Themed Buildings
  • Find Mama and Baby Alien
  • Repair Alien Family's UFO to Level 4

Luckily, two of these tasks can be completed at the same time, as you'll need to collect from buildings for the first goal task, but can also earn collectibles from those buildings, so you should be collecting from them anyway. The process to finding and moving both Mama and Baby Alien is the same, so expand your city until you reach them and then pull them back to the UFO to continue. You'll receive 200 XP and four Zoning Permits when you finish this goal.

New World
  • Get 20 Sparkling Space Rock
  • Completely Repair Alien Family's UFO
  • Find Alien Dog

There are seven items you need to collect in all for the Alien Family UFO, so while you're working on collecting those materials from friends or themed buildings, you can also work on expanding out to the UFO Dog. You'll need to move it back to the UFO as well to finish the family, and will receive six Zoning Permits and 500,000 coins for completing this final goal. Good luck!

‘The Voice’ Recap: The Battles End With an Epic Bout Between Avery Wilson and Chevonne (VIDEO)

The last three bouts in the battle rounds of NBC’s The Voice were definite showstoppers. There were only six performers and one steal left to use at the beginning of Tuesday’s episode and each performance delivered the goods we wanted to see. To no one’s surprise, NBC saved the best battle and  Christina Aguilera’s steal,...Read more»

FarmVille Haunted Hollow Chapter 6 Goals: Everything you need to know

While farmers are now being encouraged to beat Haunted Hollow in FarmVille to unlock a free shipping license, this doesn't mean that we're ready to say goodbye to the Halloween-themed land just yet. In fact, a new chapter in the game's storyline of goals has now been released, taking us into Chapter 6. We're here with a complete guide on finishing the six goals in this series, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Scaring Stiff
  • Get 6 Medusa Muds
  • Harvest 100 Green Toadstools
  • Make Crystal Cocktail 3 Times

For this "Medusa Muds" task and every other task that asks you to "get" a specific number of some item, you'll need to ask your friends to send those to you via either individual requests sent directly to neighbors or general news posts on your wall. As for the Crystal Cocktails, these are made in the Haunted Hollow Potion Shop using two Spectre Berry, two Jack-O-Lantern and three Grape bushels each. Each of those take six hours to craft, while the Green Toadstools take 12 hours to grow. You'll receive 150 XP, a Stone Willow Tree and 3,000 coins for finishing this first goal.

Howler Housing
  • Get 8 Lycansbane Leaves
  • Harvest 124 Spectre Berries
  • Make Cauldron Stew 3 Times

This Cauldron Stew recipe is also made in the Potion Shop, only here you'll need Sage, Tombstone and Tomato bushels to create one. Spectre Berries take a full day to grow, so make sure you plant those just as soon as you're done with the Green Toadstools in the goal above, even if you've yet to pass the first goal. That way, when you reach this second goal, you won't have to wait so long for them to finishing growing. Completing this second goal gives you 200 XP, a Werewolf Hut and 3,500 coins.

Praise the Sun!
  • Get 8 Sun Smoothies
  • Harvest 150 Sage
  • Make Fire Brew 2 Times

Yet again, you're dealing with a long-term crop here, as Sage takes a full day to grow. Plan ahead appropriately though, and you won't have to actually wait a full day to progress once you reach this goal. If you're still waiting for these crops to grow, you can spend some time crafting Fire Brews, which are created in a three-star Potion Shop (remember to keep upgrading your Potion Shop by continuing to craft items, even if they're not required for goals). A single Fire Brew takes two Spectre Berry, one Sage and two Jalapeno bushels to craft. You'll earn 250 XP, a Solar Eclipse Tree and 4,000 coins when you complete this goal.

Moonlight Delight
  • Get 8 Moonlight candles
  • Harvest 20 Wormwood
  • Improve Haunted Mansion to Stage 5

Wormwood takes two full days to grow, so this might be the time to bust out any sort of Instagrow potion that you may have in your inventory. If not, try plowing 20 new squares in the corner of your Haunted Hollow farm and plant these even from the very beginning of this goal series so that they're fully harvested and waiting for you when you get to this goal. As for the Haunted Mansion, you'll need to upgrade it using items like Cobwebs and Old Fences, which are earned through a combination of general news posts and individual requests sent to friends. Complete this goal to receive 300 XP, a Forest Warg animal and 4,500 coins.

Splice Thrice
  • Get 9 Splice Creams
  • Harvest 225 Sage
  • Make Lucky Charm 3 Times

Again, Sage takes a full day to grow, so plant this as soon as you get close to reaching this goal to save time. Meanwhile, the Lucky Charms are another recipe that's only available in a Level 3 or higher Potion Shop, with a single Lucky Charm requiring three Tombstone, two Green Toadstool and one Lavender bushel to craft. Remember, you can claim bushels from your friends once per day, so stock up ahead of time to pass these sorts of goals more quickly. When you finish this goal, you'll receive 350 XP, a Banapple Tree and 5,000 coins.

One Sneeze Away
  • Get 10 Polymorph Pollens
  • Harvest 250 Zombies
  • Make Werewolf's Bane 2 Times

This final goal requires the most amount of crops yet, but luckily, the crop in question, Zombies, only takes 12 hours to grow, unlike some others in this series that required two full days. Also remember that you can ask your full supply of FarmVille neighbors to send you items once everyday, so you should (in theory) have no problem racking up the 10 Polymorph Pollens. When you complete this final goal, you'll receive 400 XP, a Fuzzy Dragon animal and 5,500 coins.

Remember, you're limited to completing these goals over just the next week, so make sure that you're constantly working on these goals before they expire, taking their rewards with them. Good luck finishing them all!

Pioneer Trail Curse of the Mummy: Everything you need to know

A mysterious package has shown up on your Homestead in Pioneer Trail, and from the looks of things, this package is a massive sarcophagus containing, what else, a mummy! This delivery comes by way of a new goal series called Curse of the Mummy, and we're here with a guide to complete these goals, thanks to Zynga. You'll need to be at least level 20 to access these goals, so if you've already made it that far, you're ready to get started!

Mummy Dearest
  • Place the Sarcophagus
  • Clear 15 Debris
  • Tend 20 Adult Pigs

The debris can be anything from Cacti to Grass, so we'd suggest tending something that you have a ton of on your land so that you don't eliminate something you might need later. For completing this first goal, you'll receive 150 XP, five Ancient Lilies and a Frankenscarecrow. The Ancient Lily is a crop that can be found on the game's free gifts page, and it takes seven hours to harvest.

Mummy Dearest #2
  • Harvest 20 Ancient Lilies
  • Uncurse 5 Mummy Pigs
  • Finish Phase 1 of the Sarcophagus

Again, the Ancient Lilies are found on the game's free gifts page, so make sure to continually check your Gift Box to see if your friends have sent you any since you last checked. As for the Mummy Pigs, you'll find these at random when tending debris, just as you would find an injured critter under other circumstances. Similarly, you'll need to use Uncurse items to actually uncurse these mummy animals, with these items being earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Even after you finish this goal, you'll need more Uncurse items in the future, so make sure to ask for more whenever you get the chance. As for the Sarcophagus, the different "building" phases require you to collect even more items by bugging friends, and you'll even need to craft items like Essence Presses using Essence Jars (ask friends) and Tomato Presses (rarely drops when tending tomatoes). When you complete this goal, you'll receive 250 XP, two Mummy Trees and a Monster Topiary.

Monster Madness
  • Harvest 16 Mummy Trees
  • Uncurse 5 Mummy Sheep
  • Finish Phase 2 of the Sarcophagus

The Mummy Trees are another free gift, and the Mummy Sheep can also be found by tending debris. That makes this goal fairly straightforward, even if it is also time-consuming. For this part of the Sarcophagus, you'll need to collect even more items from friends and craft items like Silver Handcuffs. These Handcuffs require Sterling Chains (ask friends) and Ox Nose Rings (tend oxen), while other ingredients can be found by feeding adult goats or tending Mummy Trees. If you're ever confused about how to earn an item, remember to use the "hint" button next to each for a tip. Complete this goal and you'll receive a Vampire Potion, a Werewolf Potion and a Tough Hand Tonic.

Repair the Sarcophagus
  • Chop Oak Trees 25 Times
  • Find 2 Mummy Collection Items
  • Finish Phase 3 of the Sarcophagus

This third phase of the Sarcophagus requires you to ask your friends for Colorful Gems and Liquid Gold, but the rest will be mostly up to you. You'll need to tend Uncursed Mummy Sheep and Adult Pigs for other ingredients, while also crafting Sparkling Pigments and Sarcophaglue. The Sparkling Pigments are created using Crushed Cherries (tend Cherry Trees), Lapis Lazuli (ask friends), and Dead Sea Salts (ask friends). Meanwhile, a single Sarcophaglue requires four Bonding Agents (ask friends) and four Sticky Juice (tend Pink Roses) to create, so you'll need to make sure to plant some roses and ask your friends for the appropriate materials along the way to not fall behind. When you complete this goal, you'll receive 750 XP, Mummy Trees and a Dragon Goose.

One Yummy Looking Mummy
  • Harvest 40 Mummy Trees
  • Harvest 30 Ancient Lilies
  • Finish the Sarcophagus

This final stage of this Sarcophagus building project sees you collecting items like Khol Mascara and Moaning Boxes directly from requests sent to friends (so start pestering them early), along with tending Uncursed Mummy Pigs and harvesting Beets for some other items. As you might expect, there are also more crafting projects to complete here, as you'll need to craft Mummy Accessories using Pearfume (tend Pear Trees), Spray Bottles (ask friends) and Royal Circlets (ask friends). You'll also need to craft some Mummy Outfits by combining Gold Pins (ask friends), Linen Skirts (ask friends) and Wool Gauze. Adult Sheep will drop Wool Gauze at random, so even if you're not ready for this particular crafting project, make sure you have a ton of Adult Sheep ready to tend on your Homestead. When you complete this final goal, you'll receive 1,000 XP, two Aged Salmon and a Frankenfruit Tree.

On top of all of these goals, there's also a "wrapper" goal of sorts that can be worked on the entire time you're also completing this linear series.

Return to Sender
  • Send the Mummy Back
  • Uncurse 8 Mummy Pigs
  • Uncurse 8 Mummy Sheep

Again, both the Mummy Pigs and Mummy Sheep can be found by tending debris on your Homestead. In order to actually send the Mummy Back, you'll need to complete all of the goals before this, including completing the construction on the Sarcophagus. As all of these tasks are likely going to be very time-consuming, just make sure that you exhaust all of your daily allowed friend requests so that your neighbors can help you as much as they're allowed. Good luck completing this feature before Halloween!
